The role of sports clubs in developing citizenship values to counter crime in Egyptian society.

Abstract

The research aims at identify study the role of sports clubs in development citizenship values to counter crime in Egyptian society by identifying Sports clubs goals in citizenship values development  within its members, Citizenship values within sports clubs members, Obstacles that limit the role of club programs in countering crime, and Methods of activating the role of sports clubs programs in countering crime. Researcher used descriptive approach due to its appropriateness of  research nature. Researcher conducted a pilot study on (37) subjects from Sporting and Tanta,  Main study sample consisted of (42) board members of and (5) mangers from "Al-Ahli, Zamalek, Etihad , Port said AlMasry, Smouha" clubs , and (433) members of these clubs. i.e. total study sample were (475) subjects. Researcher used the questionnaire as data collecting tool. Appropriate statestics methods were used. The study concluded the necessity of using the proposed model from questionnaire results “The role of sports clubs in developing citizenship values to counter crime in Egyptian society.”
