Summary:

This research aims to investigate The reality of the requirements for applying expert systems in some sports clubs in Cairo and Giza governoratesThe researcher employed a descriptive research method using a survey approach. A sample of 250 activity managers was surveyed using two questionnaires. The first questionnaire assessed the reality of expert systems in sports clubs, focusing on four dimensions: knowledge base, knowledge acquisition methods, inference engine, and user interface. The second questionnaire assessed the reality of knowledge sharing in sports clubs, focusing on knowledge transfer, knowledge exchange, knowledge conversion, organizational culture, and organizational structure.- The dimensions of the questionnaire "The reality of expert systems in some sports clubs" could be arranged in descending order according to the relative weight as follows: -

• The knowledge base dimension in some sports clubs came in first place with a relative weight of (85.2%).

• The knowledge acquisition dimension in some sports clubs came in second place with a relative weight of (84.0%).

• The inference mechanism system dimension in some sports clubs came in third place with a relative weight of (81.2%).

• The user interface and means of clarification in some sports clubs came in fourth and last place with a relative weight of (80.1%).
