Abstract

The research aims to realize the effect of plyometric exercise program on response of body components , by measuring (weight- BMI - water ratio - muscle ratio - bone percentage - fat percentage - energy consumed daily). The research sample was chosen intentionally from 100 meters sprint players for the 2020/2021 sports season. The sample, (15) players, were selected as a key sample of players registered in the Egyptian Athletics Federation, whose ages ranged from 16 to the first class males. The researcher used the experimental method using the one-group design in order to fit the sample of the study.
One of the most important findings of the study was the presence of statistically significant differences between the tribal and remote measurements in favor of the dimensional measurement in the components of body composition. The researcher also recommends the need to use the plyometric training method because of its suitability for intermediate and advanced athletes, as well as the need to use the exercises developed within the training program in this study to improve the basic motor abilities of the 100-meter Sprint players.
