Abstract

The research aimed to identify the health components of reproductive health for female students of the Faculty of Physical Education for Girls - Helwan University through the axes of reproductive health culture, safe motherhood, maternal health problems, fertility and childbearing. Using the descriptive approach, it was applied to a deliberate sample of (350) female students from the College of Physical Education for Girls for the academic year 2020/2021 AD, and their ages ranged between (23:19 years), where a questionnaire consisting of (56) phrases divided into (3) axes was applied.
The results came to show that women's health and care for their reproductive health in particular are important issues related to sound health practices that enable women to enjoy sound physical and mental health. Safe is characterized by social and economic well-being.
The researcher recommended activating national laws against marriage before the legal age and activating awareness campaigns about the dangers of early marriage on girls, educationally and healthily, in addition to the need to prepare guidance programs in the field of health and natural medicine to raise the level of cultural awareness of reproductive health, with the importance of holding educational courses for all women in different segments of society. Increasing television programs to raise awareness of women and the family and pay attention to women’s health and needs at all age stages, and not only focus on them as a mother. She also recommended studying the inclusion of a reproductive health course in the new regulations of the faculties of physical education for girls as one of the health sciences courses.
