The current research aims to decrease separation anxiety among children through a sports recreational program. Participants (n=36) were all children who got the highest points on Separation Anxiety Scale by "Sara Gaber Abd Al-Fattah" (2018) that the researcher used as a pre- and post-measurement. The sports recreational program was applied for (8) consecutive weeks from 24-2-2019 to 18-4-2019. Results indicated statistically significant differences between the pre- and post-measurements of participants represented in a significant decrease of separation anxiety in favor of post-measurements. The researcher thinks that this decrease is due to the positive effects of the sports recreational program on decreasing separation anxiety among participants.
